FAQs

Need further information about our Centre? We’ve listed (as the title suggests) the questions most frequently asked. This list is by no
means exhaustive, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll be glad to help you out if your question hasn’t been answered.
> Is the centre open all year round ?
Yes, even at Christmas and New Year’s.
> Are there sheets and blankets in the room ?
Yes, and the beds are made for you before you arrive. >Are mealtimes flexible? We do have basic mealtime slots, but we can adapt
to your program of activities and the number of people in your party.
> Can we get to Romorantin by train ?
Yes. The train’s called the BA (Blanc-Argent) and runs on rails a metre wide. It’s an oldie but quite quaint. You can catch it at
Salbris to the north or Gièvres to the south. The train runs all the way to Valençay if you’d like to spend some time visiting the castle or its car museum.
> How many people live in Romorantin ?
Romorantin has over 18,000 inhabitants. It’s the second largest city in Loir et Cher and is a subprefecture (secondary capital).
Lots of things to do and lots of services: a good place to live.
> Is ethic etapes Jean Monnet far from centretown Romorantin ?
No. We’re only a 15 minute walk from it. A pathway crosses Paulies and Motte islands (on the Sauldre river), takes you through
lovely Ferdinand Buisson Square and brings you to the historical part of town right next to the Sologne Museum.
> Are there any stores near the ethic étapes Centre ?
Yes. There’s a Champion supermarket five minutes away on foot.
